You receive the hotel’s Manifesto by email even before arrival, and a dedicated contact follows your stay from beginning to end. Ali, Hamza, or Fédérica, depending on the day, quickly remember guests’ first names and little habits.

The 29 rooms, spread over four floors served by an elevator, bear the signature of an architect who preferred soft tones to an overabundance of noble materials. The double and twin rooms, at 16m2, remain compact: a carry-on suitcase left on the floor is sometimes enough to narrow the passage, especially in those on the ground floor, right across from the elevator. Nothing prohibitive for a short stay, but it is worth knowing before arriving with the largest of trunks.

On waking, head to the breakfast room, decorated with a mural, where croissants arrive fresh every morning. The buffet is served between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m., for an additional charge, and can also be brought to your room for those who prefer to extend the night.

At the end of the day, Bar Oé takes over. Organic wines and drinks, a savory snacking menu designed with the same attention as the rest. One drawback, however: the doors are open only from Tuesday to Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Sunday and Monday evenings, it is better to find a place in the neighborhood; there are several within a five-minute walk.

The staff, in fact, comes up in almost every conversation with guests. Filling a water bottle, calling a taxi, slipping in a restaurant recommendation: nothing ever seems too much here. This attention extends to the bathrooms, where Nuxe products and the hairdryer complement carefully chosen bedding.

One last detail for those arriving late on a weeknight: ask for a room on the top floor. The view over the rooftops of Beaugrenelle, with the Eiffel Tower standing in the distance, is worth it before closing the shutters.
