A small detail that changes the end of the day: you come back down, have a bite, and head out again.

The rooms, 36 in total spread over several floors, favor bright tones and contemporary furnishings. Air conditioning, safe, minibar stocked with complimentary soft drinks. The beds are comfortable, the private bathrooms well designed. The double-glazed windows help reduce street noise, but some guests staying on the street side still report average soundproofing during the hours when nearby theaters and cinemas let out. When booking, it is worth asking for a high floor or a courtyard-facing room if you are a light sleeper.

In the morning, head to the breakfast room, painted in vivid colors and decorated with a trompe-l’oeil that gives, from the table, the illusion of a view of the Eiffel Tower. The buffet offers eggs, pastries, yogurt, fruit juice, and hot drinks. Generous, varied. Discerning guests may regret the lack of homemade bread or pastries, but that issue is easily solved by crossing the street to Bouillon Chartier or one of the neighborhood bakeries.

The reception staff, available 24 hours a day, often come up in traveler comments: warm welcome, availability day and night, a sense of service without overdoing it.

As for transport, the Grands Boulevards station (lines 8 and 9) is about 200 meters away, and Gare du Nord is one kilometer away. Plenty to easily explore, on foot or by metro, the major Haussmann department stores, covered passages, or the Grand Rex.

The best time to enjoy the lounge is right after 6 p.m., when the drinks and snacks service begins and the street starts to come alive outside. Enough to recharge before an evening outing, without even leaving the hotel.
